Looking after children means being ready for anything. Our Paediatric First Aid (PFA) course gives you the skills and confidence to handle everything from minor bumps to serious emergencies. It’s designed for parents, teachers, childcare workers, and anyone who cares for kids. You’ll learn using hands-on practice and simple, clear steps based on the latest guidance from the HSE and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Over two days (12 hours), you’ll cover CPR for babies and children, choking, asthma, allergic reactions, wounds, burns, and more. There’s no final test, just ongoing checks during the course.
Once you pass, you’ll get a Level 3 PFA certificate valid for three years. The course costs £95 per person (no VAT), with discounts for groups.
We can run the course at your venue, including evenings or weekends, and even offer shorter options, like our 3-hour Baby & Child First Aid or 6-hour Emergency PFA course.
With high demand across the North West, early booking is advised.
