Local First Aid at Work Courses Manchester – We are able to offer the latest and up to date 3 days First Aid at Work course at a competitive price to suit all types of business. This course can be adapted to suit a particular audience and is ideal for any working environments, our course is the most up to date in line with HSE Guidelines and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021. All our courses are COVID 19 compliant.
Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student; Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard will be issued with a certificate that is valid for three years.
The FAW course syllabus includes:
- First Aid Priorities
- Managing Incidents
- Basic Life Support + AED training
- Examination of a casualty
- Spinal including Log roll
- Control of bleeding
- Burns & Scalds
- Trauma Injuries
- Regulations
- First Aid kits
- Recording & Reporting
Successful students will be receive a certificate valid for 3 years upon completion of the course, once deemed as competent, there is no final examination as continual assessment is gauged throughout the course. Successful students are encouraged to attend a half day annual training session due to any changes to BLS applied by UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015.
